Lisa Molock dedicated her 2020 birthday to the kids in Baltimore by creating a wish list filled with 500 amazon fire tablets. Friends and family purchased 287 tablets that Lisa distributed to kids on the waiting list. Tablets are still arriving 2 months later. Lisa Lisa wrote every council-person, every person in government and asked them to do something now to help the children in Baltimore to remove the barrier that prevents them from accessing online classrooms. After reaching out, Councilman Zeke Cohen submitted a bill that would reallocate $3,000,000 from children and youth fund to purchase digital devices and help start the process in closing the digital divide. Lisa was asked to join the councilman and city council president to announce to Baltimore City of this plan. Lisa was able to review the bill for suggestions prior to the bill being summited for approval. Lisa is now working closely with Baltimore City Public Schools to assure students receive these devices.
